B orn in Baku four years before Azerbaijan gained its independence, Elvin grew through political and economic crisis witnessing war and hostilities, which, he believes, shaped his philosophy and vision. Elvin believes helping people is what makes life meaningful. Prior to making Moirai Reach come to true, Elvin worked for Bell Mobility and Bell Canada in various marketing roles.
He moved to Canada from a post-soviet Azerbaijan, where he led product development teams for a major telecommunications company launching and marketing many successful products and services. He worked as a Director of Marketing for Tier III Cloud Solutions Provider and as a side job in order to fulfill his beliefs and vision, Elvin lectured at ADA University, sharing his expertise in marketing and business with coming generations.
Elvin is an alumnus of a prestigious Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship program, which is the program of the US Department of State. During the two years spent in the USA within the framework of this fellowship Elvin studied towards his MBA and worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas assisting the Chief Policy Adviser in his research of DFW metro-area mortgage market. Elvin believes that giving back to community is a virtue and as such he volunteered for such organizations as AIESEC and BRIT to name a few.
Elvin is the Alumnus of ASPEN Leadership Fellow of 2015 and Antall Joseph Knowledge Centers V4 leadership school of 2014. Elvin holds a BSc in Economics from Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and MBA from Neeley School of Business at TCU.
